This Father’s Day, we honor the guy who started it all — Dewey “Big Dad” Brown — a man whose legacy lives on in every bite of Shane’s Rib Shack. Big Dad wasn’t just Shane’s grandfather, he was a Clemson football player, a WWII hero, a devoted husband for over 60 years, and the heart behind so many of the family recipes we serve to this day.♥️

His words still guide us: “Do what you love, and do it better than anybody else.”

From backyard cookouts to perfecting the secret sauce, Big Dad taught Shane that reputation is earned one plate at a time. 🍽 Celebrate Father’s Day with us and taste the tradition passed down through generations.
