Since 1964, our tables have been a place where families gather, stories are shared and memories are made over food prepared with love. Some guests walk through our doors with their family beside them. Others have simply visited us so many times that they've become part of ours. Either way, our goal remains the same: to make you feel warm, welcome and genuinely cared for every time you dine with us.

We will miss you, Zane 💙
Today we said farewell to someone who has been a very special part of our Manuel’s family for the past six years.

Zane started with us in June of 2020 at his very first job, as a busboy. Over the years, we had the privilege of watching him grow into an amazing server while balancing work and college. Now, six years later, he has graduated from ASU with his bachelor’s degree in Finance and is beginning an exciting new chapter with Charles Schwab.

We couldn’t be more proud of everything Zane has accomplished. He was always a joy to work with, and our customers loved him just as much as we did. It has been so rewarding to watch him grow, both personally and professionally, and we are incredibly grateful for all the years, hard work, many laughs, and memories he gave to our restaurant.

Fun fact about Zane: his favorite meal was our Combo #2! 🌮 And his younger brother Lucas came to work with us as well! Another gem that we adore!

Zane, thank you for being such an important part of our family for the past six years. We will truly miss having you here, but we are so excited to see where this next chapter takes you. We know you have an incredibly bright future ahead of you!

Congratulations Zane! We are so proud of you and wish you nothing but success and happiness in your new career! 🎉

In 1964, Manuel and Alice Salazar opened the doors to the very first Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant at 32nd Street and Indian School Road with one heartfelt purpose: to serve their community delicious Mexican food in a place where everyone felt welcome.
What began with the two of them grew alongside their family. Today, each Manuel’s location is proudly owned and operated by members of the Salazar family, carrying forward the values Manuel and Alice established more than 60 years ago.

We still prepare our food from scratch each day. We still believe in welcoming every guest with warmth. And we still feel incredibly grateful each time a family chooses to gather around one of our tables.

To everyone who has supported Manuel’s throughout the years, thank you. Your loyalty has allowed generations of our family to continue doing what we love. You are more than our guests. You are part of the Manuel’s story, and it is our honor to continue serving you.
