We’ve always had a passion for community and coffee… and when you think about that, it really makes sense. Really good. Through our parent organization, Crowd to Community, we’ve been serving the vulnerable in our city for years. Coffee has fueled that work in many ways, and now it is fueling it to a greater degree. We are not just cultivating good cups of cof

fee with our roasts. Every bag you purchase helps create opportunities for the vulnerable in our community. For now, all profits are going toward serving our community and eventually opening up a community space. We have plans though of employing those aging out of foster care, refugees youth, homeless youth.

If you haven’t met any of our summer interns, come by before the end of July! Every summer we bring in 9 youth from the Sunnyslope neighborhood to experience real work with real pay. They also participate in a 6 week cohort to learn about the dignity of work and what it takes to get there. We serve kids from all walks of life, including foster care and refugees. One of the best ways to support this work is to keep coming in and being a regular customer. Thank you for all the support you give!

Today is this man’s birthday. Although you won’t see Chris at the shop on a daily basis, he is the man behind it all. Built our first roaster, designed our logo, built our new cart at the commons, fixed everything in the shop at least one time, helped develop our curriculum for our youth, leads our group mentoring nights and so much more! We are so grateful for his creativity, grit and leadership!
