So Flower Child I saw 👀 the new Peppered Shrimp Jollof on the menu and, as Jollof enthusiast, I have some questions.

Who developed this recipe?
Were West African chefs, cooks, or culinary experts consulted?
Was the dish created with any understanding of the cultural history and significance of jollof?
And when a dish rooted in West African culture is adapted and commercialized by a large American restaurant chain, who gets to tell that story and who benefits from it?
We need answers……

It won’t be hot for long, so we’re gearing up for food truck season! We’re HIRING for a food truck operator/cook and a service window attendant for the season (end of September to Mid May). Food truck operator must be able to drive food truck to service location and back and cook food! Safe Serv manager required (but we will cover the cost)! Service window attendant must have safe serv certification (we will cover the cost) and be willing and able to take orders and assist cook with prepping orders! Interested?
