Henderson's Heavenly Slice is moving to Main Street in Philippi. They will be located directly across the street from the BKR Racing garage at the north end of Main Street, near the covered bridge. I hear the grand re-opening is scheduled for July 18.

How about dinner and a show this weekend?

The Barbour County Playhouse production of "Oz" at Philip Barbour High School runs Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 PM. Kids get free admission to the show if they bring any canned food product. Adult tickets are $5.

Come to Henderson's before the show for an early dinner. Or, go see the show and cap off your night with a late supper. Very "cosmopolitan".

I just spoke to the "Master of Pizza", and he's decided to honor his Lord and Master. Henderson's Heavenly Slice will now be closed on Sundays.

Today is the National Day of Prayer. If you are grateful for the liberty that is afforded you in this great nation, and if you want to keep it, and if you realize that it comes from a Power even greater than our government, then make sure you take time to stop what your doing today and pray!

When the Mexican troops had defeated the French at the Battle of Puebla, on May 5, 1862, they knelt and thanked God for their deliverance, and then celebrated by covering flour tortillas with salsa and cheese and baking these rudimentary pizzas in adobe ovens. Thus was celebrated the first Cinco De Mayo. Okay, that's not entirely true, but wouldn't a pizza from Henderson's be a great way to celebrate today?

Celebrate Jay Henderson's birthday this weekend the very best way you can: with a pizza from Henderson's Heavenly Slice!
