We’re so excited to welcome Mia Castro to Recipe Philly as part of Philadelphia’s Cookbooks & Convos this fall!

Join us on Thursday, November 5 for a multi-course dinner featuring Mia’s debut cookbook, Cocina Puerto Rico, in our private dining room.

She’s cooking alongside two Philly chefs who know exactly what it means to put Puerto Rican home cooking on a plate: Yun Josué Fuentes of BOLO and Amy Rivera Nassar of Amy’s Pastelillos. Rounding out the table is our own piñon, Jaymi Knows Fun • East Coast Creator’s family recipe, brought to life by Chef Andy Revella.

What does one of America’s greenest chefs do with a brand new kitchen? 🌱

Chef Andy Revella, previously named Greenest Chef in America, gives us a look at some of the technology behind Recipe Philly’s green kitchen.

Our all-electric kitchen operates without traditional exhaust hoods, but that’s just the start. Andy shows how our chemical-free cleaning system and grease-trapping shields help us keep harsh chemicals and grease out of the wastewater system.

Andrea from Andrea Lynn | Cozy Comfort Food stopped by for lunch with her family, so we had to ask our Grand Prize Winner: what does she order when she comes to Recipe Philly? 👀

Andrea made her way through the competition with three winning dishes: her herb-crusted pork tenderloin, kielbasa sliders, and her incredible take on the Philly cheesesteak, which earned her the Philly Plate title.

Yep, all three are on the menu 🙌

But Andrea has plenty of love for her fellow home cooks’ recipes, too. Watch to see what she and her family ordered for lunch.
