Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to visit the brick and mortar over the 3+ years we were open 🍌 what a learning experience in life this has been(in business and humanity). The food truck will have many more options next time you see us out 😍 we are so happy to continue whipping up bananas and are excited to recharge this off-season. Hello banana family! Some bittersweet news...
November 17th will be our last open day at our storefront @ 932 EPA. The food truck will continue on as normal.

We had a wonderful almost 4 years as brick-and-mortar owners! We got to try out different menu items like milkshakes and vegan breakfast and vegan hot dogs. We learned so much about business and life. We supported other small businesses along the way. And we even acquired some really incredible regulars (love you). We are so proud of the fact that we did not fail. But with 2 babies at home, we've decided this season of our lives is better spent with them.

Running a small business is tough, especially a food one, and especially a seasonal one. Big ups to all those who support their favorite local businesses because that makes all the difference. Keep it up! Thank you to all who have given us their time and consideration, including those who came in for banana whips during the winter times.

So get it in while you can! We'll miss you all but will see you at a private event (please hire us!), the next music festival we vend, or on the street somewhere in Philly. The Chilly Banana will continue just as it started - on wheels!

It has been a minute since our last post - having two kids is a wild time. Energy being stretched across so many planes, some things fall by the wayside (including posting on social media) 🍌 WE ARE STILL HERE AND READY TO PARTY 🍓 the foodtruck is still rolling around doing events/parties for people and we are enjoying our lives as much as we can :) Now pardon me while I blow some fireworks 🎆 up with my kids like my father did with me when I was a little. ❤️💙💜💖💗💛💚

🍼Things are going to look a little different at The Banana in 2024🐣We had a surprise😮 visitor decide to show up 10 days early to join the family :) Welcome to the world Haven 💙🍌 This week we will be open as normal but we are stopping breakfast service for the time being. New weekend hours will be updated shortly. You also may be seeing less of me (the bearded bald one) but we have some awesome people that everyone will get to meet as we get ready for the busy season. Super stoked and life is totally worth living for!! Now come support this small business because I got another mouth to feed lol
