Well… here comes another announcement that will forever change Mac Mart. 😭 🧀 From carbs to closings. 🧀➡️🏡

Everyone help us say THANK YOU (and not goodbye, because please… she’s still stuck with us forever) to our very own PJ as she heads off on a brand new adventure.

After 14 years of scooping, slinging, stressing, laughing, yelling, problem-solving and bringing her one-of-a-kind PJ sass to Mac Mart… she’s officially trading in mac bowls for mortgage rates.

While you may not see her behind the counter every day anymore, you CAN now call her when you’re ready to buy your dream home, commercial space, investment property… or apparently anything else that requires someone to fight for you and get you the best damn rate possible.

And if you know PJ, you already know: she works HARD, she doesn’t take no for an answer, and she will absolutely annoy the appropriate people until the job gets done. 😂

When we reached out, Marti immediately said yes—donating the mac-n-cheese for our very first event. And she’s been saying yes to Madelyn James ever since.

She shows up. She gives generously. She proudly wears her Madelyn James bracelet around Philly. And she has become a true champion of our mission and the families we support.

At the same time, Marti has built an incredible Philly business from the ground up, growing Mac Mart from a Drexel food truck into a beloved local favorite.
