The UKA members in the second regular tea ceremony! We had the great opportunity to compare two different Pu’er tea(raw and ripe) and appreciate them. Next time it’s going to come back with Oolong, join us and feel the amazing fragrance of tea!

The first tea ceremony event was successful! We had the light oolong tea, white tea, and black tea. UKA members who joined today have the diverse backgrounds so we could have the meaningful conversations!! It was the great opportunity to listen to the other culture and get to know each other! Thanks for coming you all, and we hope to see you again with a more of new participants!

Calling all K-Pop Lovers!

Next Monday, November 4th, from 7pm to 9:30pm, The UArts Korean Association is hosting its K-Pop event in Gershman Black Box.
There will be fun activities such as K-Pop Dance Workshop led by UArts alumni, Spicy Noodle Challenge, DJ Performance, and more!
This event is open to everyone, so you are more than welcome to bring your friends to the event.
The door will be opened at 7:00pm. We hope to see you at the event. :)

이번 주 월요일에 걸쉬맨 블랙 박스에서 K-Pop 이벤트가 진행될 예정입니다. 유아츠 출신 댄스 강사와 함께 하는 댄스 워크샵과 불닭 챌린지, 그리고 DJ 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 이벤트를 준비했으니, 많은 관심 및 참석 부탁드립니다.

We are happy to announce our first event, Korean Thanksgiving Lunch, this upcoming Wednesday, September 18th, from 11am to 1pm @ Solmssen Court. This event is a special global lunch celebrating Korean Thanksgiving called Chuseok. As such, we are bringing in traditional food and have also prepared events and activities, and more for you!
The event occurs simultaneously with UArts Student, Faculty, Staff of Color Mixer. We look forward to seeing you in the event :)
(This event is collaborated with Chinese Association at UArts.)

- UKA and CAU will be celebrating Lunar New Year’s Day with collaboration with International Office.
- South Philadelphia based dance company, KYL/D, will perform and hold dance Workshop.
- Korean traditional food will be serverd!
- Photo Booth with Korean Traditional clothes, Han-bok.
- Have your name written in Korean

🇰🇷 [ Mar. 1st - Apr. 1st]-Levitt Foyer
- An exhibition celebrating 100th year of March 1st Movement in 1919, one of the first public displays of Korean resistance during the Japanese occupation of Korea.
- Exhibition theme : Independence
- Exhibition is opened for all student, all race, all identity.
- Submit application by Feburary 15th.
