Join Dim Sum Garden Philadelphia for an immersive, hands-on Soup Dumpling (Xiao Long Bao) Workshop, where tradition, technique, and flavor come together.

In this interactive class, guests will learn how to make authentic Shanghai-style soup dumplings from scratch, including dough preparation, filling, folding, and steaming.

All ingredients and tools are provided.
After the workshop, participants will enjoy the dumplings they made, freshly steamed and served warm.

The class is led by Chef Shizhou Da, head chef of Dim Sum Garden and the 5th-generation descendant of the original chef who created the Shanghai soup dumpling. This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from a living culinary lineage passed down through generations.
Perfect for food lovers, cultural experiences, team events, and anyone curious about the art behind one of China’s most iconic dishes.
