Well, the weather has managed to close the diner for the 3rd time, in my 32 years here…

Bob’s Diner will be CLOSED TODAY.

With the impending ice, along with the snow accumulation, I don’t want to risk my staff who travel to work.

I was thinking of opening, but there’s going to be ice, mixed with the snow and I don’t want to risk the safety of our staff and customers…

We are closed, Christmas Day!
We reopened December 26 at 7 AM.
Don’t forget, we are open New Year’s Day, but with a time change … 8 AM to 2:30 PM

Angels walk among us!
This morning, at Bobs Diner, we had the privilege of serving breakfast to nine members of Drexel University ROTC.
While they were eating, one of our customers, John Barley, picked up their checks. Each of these brave men stopped to shake John’s hand to thank him, and brought a tear to his eye.
We thank them for their service, and we thank John for his selfless act.
We have the best customers!
