I love you deeply and I’m beyond proud of you. Watching you step into this moment means everything to me.

When I started in this restaurant industry at 30, I didn’t have a mentor… nobody to guide me, nobody to hold my hand. It was just me, God, and the people of Philadelphia who believed in what I was building. I was the youngest Jamaican female to own a restaurant in the city with lines out the door and down the block. It looked beautiful on the outside… but it came with real lessons some that built me, and some that broke me.

And now… here you are.

About to run our Delaware location. A whole new chapter. A whole new level.

Just know this… you’re not walking this journey alone. You got something I didn’t have and that’s me. Big sister got you every step of the way. Through the wins, the pressure, the mistakes, all of it.

God carried me… and He’s going to carry you too.
