As America celebrates the 250th anniversary of its independence, it’s time to uncover the surprisingly boozy side of the Revolutionary era. From taverns that served as the social and political hubs of the colonies to the drinks enjoyed by the Founding Fathers themselves, Brooke brings this fascinating history to life with humor, stories, and plenty of spirited details.
