The Flavor Spot opened in its doors in December 2008 at 6417 Rising Sun Ave, in the Northeast region of the city & a second location at 5013 N Broad st in 2011. Family owned our aim is to provide homestyle Jamaican dishes cooked with all the tradit
ional Jamaican spices. Operated by mom and her daughters each meal is prepared traditionaly with home in mind. Labeled as having the best jerk in the city our jerk chicken is grilled outdoors on the famous drum pan grill giving it a smoky charcaol flavor. Our 2nd location opened in Febuary 2011 located in the Logan section of the city offers takeout only, also preparing traditional homestyle dishes and also a variety of different combos.Our combos are jerk chicken, jerk wings or fried chicken served with french fries, festivals , potato salad or bread, we also have a jerk chicken salad and sandwhich. We have a variety of pastries at both locations from rum cake, potato pudding, carrot cake, red velvet, triple chocolate and cheese cake. Party trays and catering service also available. We accept all major credit cards at both locations.
