Tried a new pound cake recipe. It's pretty good but I'll stick with Mamaw's recipe. Mamaw was my husband's grandmother. I asked her many years ago to show me how to make it. No written recipe, all from memory. There is nothing better than Mamaw's pound cake. This one is good, it'll do but it does not compare to hers.

Carrot Cake 🥕🥕🥕

I think its a year round flavor to enjoy but it's pretty popular in Spring and Fall. Our Carrot Cake is full of ahhhmazing flavors..organic shredded carrots, pineapple, coconut, toasted walnuts, golden raisins, apples, cinnamon, our homemade bourbon vanilla and topped with cream cheese/cinnamon cream cheese buttercream...also can made dairy free as well.

Well...the cake was a bust. Dumped the whole cake in the trash. Buttercream was great but the rest of it was an absolute NO for me. Can't get the taste out of my mouth 😵‍💫 too many flavors that did not blend well together.

Vegan Avocado Lime Cake
-avocado, lime, coconut, vanilla make up the flavors of the cake with a raspberry filling, topped with a chocolate avocado ganache and lime buttercream

It was fun to make and sometimes new bakes don't turn out so well. This is definitely one of them. I wouldn't even give this away for free...seriously....not good at all.
