7 bridesmaid dresses
And 15 other clients with a total of 35 garments (jeans, shirts, jackets, casual dresses).

For grand total of 60 garments in 22 days

We are grateful to have such wonderful clients keeping us very busy.

At this time, we are fully booked through the end of June.

Thank you to all of my valued customers—because of your continued support, Made by Teri is fully booked through prom season.

While I wish we could accommodate every request, our commitment to quality means we can only take on a limited number of projects at a time.

How can I incorporate mom’s wedding dress into my special day.

A question I get asked frequently.

Here are a couple options ~ ring bearer pillow or a lingerie bag.

Don’t let that dress sit in storage ~ repurpose it into a memorable keepsake that can be passed down or practically used.

Prom Season is quickly approaching

Shop early, especially if shopping online. Use measurements, not size because each brand uses different measurements.

***Recommendations***

Not everything can be altered. Not everything you wish to do to a dress can be done!

If it's too tight to sit or dance in you're going to pop a zipper.

If it has a slit, do the “sit” test.

If you have a short torso be careful to not buy dresses made for long torsos, especially if there is boning.

If it’s strapless shimmy and dance around to make sure it will stay up … before the big day.

Don't listen to the salespeople. They will try to sell you what they want to leave the store and have little experience on what alterations are feasible. They work on commission and the final sale is the goal.

Made by Teri books out weeks in advance, to secure an appointment, reach out EARLY. We are already booking appointments in March.

There will be Rush appointments available but those appointments will have a $30 rush fee on top of alterations cost.

All prom appointments require a $30 non refundable deposit that will be be deducted from final alteration cost.

A huge thank you to Rocky Mountain Enrichment for inviting me to share some sewing knowledge with their students today.

It made my heart happy when they finished their project and showed it off with pride, one young lady even exclaimed “I did it by myself with a real needle”. No worries, it was a blunt tip safety needle 😎.

I love taking time to visit schools and teach them about sewing.
