Ten years in business has taught us a lot.

Not every customer will love us. Not every experience will be perfect. That’s the reality of serving thousands of people over the years.

What we’re most proud of is that through the highs, lows, challenges, and even personal loss, we’ve continued to show up for our community.

This past year has been one of the hardest we’ve ever faced. Yet we’ve continued to serve, employ local residents, support community events, donate when we could, and keep the doors open.

Tonight, the Shut Yo Mouf Soulfood family will be attending the 804 Awards, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this incredible moment together.

To allow our team the opportunity to attend this evening’s ceremony, we will be closing early today, Sunday, June 7, at 3:00 PM.

Before we head out, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU. Whether you’ve dined with us once, shared a post, told a friend about us, supported an event, or simply continued to show us love throughout the years—you are part of our story.

This recognition represents so much more than an award. It represents every meal served, every conversation shared, every team member who shows up day after day, and every customer who chooses to support a local family-owned business.

We’ll be serving up all the soul food and smiles we can until 3 PM, then we’ll be getting cleaned up and heading out to celebrate this special occasion together.
