IT’S APPROACHING QUICKLY.

The last day of the 2026 season at Pete’s Drive In will be SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2026.

This season has just flown by. It’s been an adventure. We can’t thank our staff enough. They, as usual, have done a great job. Th as nk yo all our customers.

See ya at Pete’s. A cheeseburger a day keeps the doctor away.

Folks……with the forecasted heat, we will close at 7PM this week. It’s brutal on the employees. The equipment and customers don’t much like it.

Tonight we also wanted to give the staff time to attend the candle light prayer vigil if they wished. Prayers to the families.

We will be closed, Saturday, Sept 5, 2026 to observe Labor Day.

Sorry for any inconvenience. This crew has really worked hard. They deserve a break. I know the old people need a break. See ya at Pete’s.

Folks…..we will probably close at 7PM this week due to the heat.

We don’t really want the hops out in this heat too long. We try to rotate folks in and out as much as possible.

Please call the store at (812)354-BURG (2874) with any questions. I will make posts as we move forward. We won’t put our staff at great risk to sell food. It’s just not worth it. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Grrrrrr. Welcome September and continued heat. It’s gonna be a cooker today and the rest of the week.

We will try to take care of the staff. It’s brutal on that lot. We will do our best to try and get through it. This crew always gets after it. We are very fortunate to have some great folks working with us.
