Today Special is posted below and we are trying out something new.
For the past few days I’ve had this song rattling around in my dome and I can’t shake it. It just lingers there, in my brain, and sometimes it passes down thru my vocal cords and escapes my lips before I can stop it.
I’ve tried everything to get it out of there. I took a long walk around the square blasting my favorite songs thinking one of them would remove that annoying tune from my thoughts. Nope didn’t work. I even stood over the bathroom sink, turned my head 45 degrees, and with an open hand batted on my ear like a swimmer trying to get water out of their ear. Didn’t work. So I turned the other way and repeated that on the other ear. Didn’t work.
I’ve tried everything short of going to a hypnotist. As I’m typing right now, the chorus is there and I am using every bit of constitution I have not to belt of those words.
The one thing I can’t understand is how it got there. I’ve never even watched the show it’s the theme of.
Today’s Special:
Chicken Quesadilla- Seasoned Shredded Chicken, Cheese, and Pico de Gallo. Served with a side of Salsa, Sour Cream, and Avocado Jam.
