In whose mind is it right or fair or make any sense at all for fans to be arrested and charged over a fight in the stands at a football game, while a thug who assaults and brutally batters a store clerk, steals from the store while destroying other merchandise gets to walk away with no consequences?? I wonder what country I’m actually living in. Who kidnapped me and dropped me off in a third world country? Satan is alive and well and living the good life in the United States. God bless us and help us overcome the insanity and unGodliness that has its grip on us. 🙏🙏

Well, Richard Carter and I have reinstated our judgeship with Kansas City Barbeque Society. We’re sitting in on a judge’s class in Roswell GA on September 28 to brush up on rules and regs. Hoping to get back into competition soon.

Well, we should be going to bed getting ready to judge the South Georgia bbq competition and Outdoor Festival in Douglas GA. But, Richard's knee surgery had to take priority. Hopefully we'll be chosen to do the next one, The Doc Holiday competition in Griffin, GA. Gotta get into doing the competitions in addition to judging them.

On our way to judge another contest. This time in Ellijay, GA. We love judging the competitions, but getting up at 4:00 am to drive 3 hrs to eat bbq may be pushing it a bit. lol. Especially when there's no way to avoid Atlanta. 😡😖

Here we go again. Biting off almost more than we can chew. Busy as we've been, Richard and I are cooking up some grub (pulled pork and chicken, of course) for the Houston County Relay for Life tomorrow. We'll update with some pictures as soon as we recover. We have so many reasons for giving back .... my sister Linda and friend Amber are cancer survivors. I lost both of my parents to cancer. My very dear friend Gwen is fighting it now. And too many more to count. God give them and their caregivers the strength to fight this monster.

Yes, we're still alive up and running. Richard and I are now official judges with Georgia BBQ Assoc. Hopefully we'll be settled in enough after the first of the year to start competing again. I promise I'll try to be better about updating this page. Hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Time to start getting ready for the Smoke on the Water competition in Winter Haven on Saturday Feb 1st. Of course, we'll be there setting up on Friday so anyone who wants to relax and visit for awhile is more than welcome to come by. Then come on back on Saturday and pick up your bbq for Super Bowl Sunday. If you want to place a special order, just give us a call....863-581-4527. Our catering event for Southeast Produce Council held at Spice World in Orlando on March 1st was awesome. It was a little chilly and breezy, but everyone bundled up and got it done. Many thanks go out to our family Debbie, Randall and Cheryl who made it possible. Debbie braved the cold and wind with Richard setting up and starting the ribs and chicken @ 3:00 am in the parking lot. I didn't realize how many Spice World products we use without even knowing it. Nor did I realize the work involved in just growing garlic, much less the processing of all the products they sell. Check out the photos of the event. The next time you're in the grocery store look for their products and give them a try. You can also go online and learn about the family business that has been groing since 1949.
