Exciting new contest at the Free Fair!

The Payne County Expo Center is excited to announce the inaugural Payne County Smoke Show! Oklahoma's newest BBQ tradition is firing up during the Payne County Free Fair August 29th.

As part of this exciting new event, we're launching a Youth BBQ Division that will pair local businesses with 4-H and FFA youth teams from across Payne County and surrounding communities. This unique competition gives young pitmasters the opportunity to showcase their skills, gain hands-on experience, and connect with local businesses committed to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders.

The Payne County Smoke Show will bring together great food, friendly competition, and community spirit, creating a new tradition for families, competitors, and BBQ enthusiasts alike. We invite local businesses to join us in making this inaugural event a success while encouraging and mentoring our area's talented youth.

🍕 Join us for a Homemade Pizza Making Workshop and learn how to create the perfect pizza from scratch! 🍕

Participants will mix and prepare their own dough, choose delicious toppings and bake a homemade masterpiece while learning important kitchen skills, food safety practices and creativity. Whether you're a fan of classic pepperoni or love trying unique flavor combinations, this hands-on workshop is sure to be a slice of fun for everyone!
