Hey CheezHeadz! We have some news to share with all of you. It is very hard to write these words but with mixed emotions we must tell you that we have sold CheezHeadz. We would like to thank all of you that have made CheezHeadz what it is today! 10 years ago when we first started, the vision was to make a neighborhood place where anyone could come in and get some pizza and a beer or a sub and a soda. Somewhere that everyone could feel comfortable regardless of your social standings, your politics, your race, your musical tastes, the color of your eyes, your favorite football team. We believe we succeeded in that aspect.
I watched people who didn’t know each other become best friends. I’ve seen wedding proposals. I’ve seen celebrations of life. We have been the first place babies have been after they were born. We have been the last place people have watched a musical performance. I’ve seen some of the most incredible musicians start here. I have had musicians that I admired when I was growing up play here.
There are so many faces that are flashing through my mind as I write this. I am so incredibly lucky to have met so many people that have shared so many life stories with me. I can’t thank all of you enough!
I have been even luckier to have been able to work with my children. They have sacrificed so much because this place took so much of my time and energy. CheezHeadz would be nothing if it wasn’t for the hard work that Sean, CJ, and Cambria put in. I’m sure I haven’t thanked them enough so to you three I thank you and I love you guys from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you to all the people that have worked here past and present. Thank you to all the musicians that have entertained so many people. Who would’ve thought that a little neighborhood pizza joint in Peoria, AZ would play host to so many world class musicians. So many incredible musical performances!
I hate the thought of letting anyone down by selling. I feel that I owe you all so much more but this year has been the hardest of the ten years we have been open. The lack of workers, the lack of product, the rising cost of product are all factors in my decision, not to mention what the landlord is doing to the rent. Karma is a b**** dude!
