We had so many doordash orders come in when we were open that we often couldn’t keep up and turned it off! Just received this email and it brought back some memories I thought I would share with you all. I’m hoping it’s not going to be too long of a wait. Working really hard to make our Pita or Bowl concept happen in Peoria. Definitely a lot of work to do.

Hey everyone! We started Yusufs Cuisine with one goal in mind and that’s to introduce authentic and delicious Mediterranean food to the Peoria area. I think we accomplished that and saw so many great people come in and we enjoyed every moment. As some of you know, I have another restaurant in Springfield IL called Pita or Bowl which is going 3 years strong with huge success and recently I’ve had to focus more there to keep up with demand. Running two restaurants with two different concepts in todays business climate is challenging. With that said, I have decided to close Yusufs cuisine and start looking for a space to introduce Pita or Bowl to the Peoria area. I have always believed that when one door closes, another opens.

Pita or Bowl is a one of a kind restaurant where you can build your own Mediterranean Pita, bowl, or salad. It’s a concept we have worked tirelessly to perfect. Follow us here at https://m.facebook.com/PitaorBowl

Imsakhan pizza ($14.99) - Classic Palestinian dish filled with flavor. Its consists of home made bread topped with chicken, onions, samac, and olive oil.

Stuffed Grape Leaves ($8.99) - Aka Dolma/Yalenji. This delicious and healthy dish is made with rice, fresh herbs, and wonderful spices. Yum' is the only one word to describe it! Served hot and covered with a delicious tomato base sauce. Great with yogurt as a dip!

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls ($8.99) -Aka Malfoof - This delicious and healthy dish is filled with minced meat & seasoned rice then rolled in pre-boiled cabbage leaves which then simmers in a pot for hours. Great with yogurt as a dip!
