We’ve always believed great BBQ is about the whole plate, and our sides are one of the things we think really separates Slow Hand from other barbecue shops.

Case in point: Our Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts with Bacon. 🥓🍯

Sweet. A little spicy. Savory. Smoky. Bacon-y. And unbelievably addictive.

They’ve become one of our favorite sides in the restaurant and a huge hit on our catering orders.

Who knew Brussels sprouts could have a fan club? 😂

If you know, you know.

And if you’ve watched food reviews anywhere around Central Illinois, chances are you know Seth Boyer.

Well, apparently a whole bunch of you know him too — because Seth was the leading vote-getter and most nominated person in the Journal Star Content Creators Contest ! 👏

And we’ve gotta say…THIS DUDE DESERVES IT.

There may not be anyone who has made a bigger marketing impact on Slow Hand Craft BBQ than Seth. Last year, his videos and highlights helped propel us to our biggest month EVER — and it wasn’t even close.

The crazy part?

Seth has never charged us a dime.

He shows up. Eats some BBQ. Yells “PeORRiaaa!” into a camera. 😂 Creates killer content. And genuinely just wants to see local businesses and good people succeed.

People like that are rare.

This is not your average deli turkey sandwich.

We pile on oak-smoked turkey breast—sliced thick and stacked high—then melt in Swiss, fresh peppery arugula, and Calabrian chili mayo for the perfect kick. 🤤
