It is with great disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the 2026 Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo.

After already postponing the event by two weeks due to weather concerns, current forecasts for this weekend continue to indicate unsafe conditions for our anglers, families, volunteers, and staff. The safety of everyone involved must remain our top priority.

We understand how much this event means to our fishing community and to the many participants who look forward to making memories at the Rodeo each year. This decision was not made lightly, and we share in the disappointment of having to cancel.

We sincerely thank everyone for their patience, understanding, and continued support. While the 2026 event will not take place, the Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo will return in 2027, and we look forward to welcoming anglers back for another great year on the Gulf Coast.
