Happy Taco Tuesday!

Many people aren’t aware that over the years Tacos Mexicanos was much more than a local taco shop. I always did my best to put people on so they could start their own business and Taqueria Al Chile is a product of that.
Andres came to work for me back in 2024 and from the beginning he expressed his intent to start his own thing. I told him that he could learn by treating Tacos Mexicanos as if it was his own and I’d show him every detail of how I operate. By January of 2025 he opened Taqueria Al Chile and I’m super proud to see him doing well in Navarre now!

This weekend we will be doing a collab at his shop. I’ll be there with Andres making the Tacos Mexicanos favorites on Saturday and Sunday 7/18 & 7/19. **MOVED TO 7/25 & 7/26**
We will have a limited menu, probably Awesome Tacos and Queso plus their standard menu but let us know in the comments what you want us to cook.

Tacos Mexicanos is closed effective immediately. The deal we were working on for a January transition into new ownership fell through and I have decided to close. I truly did my best to keep Tacos Mexicanos alive but at the end of the day God has plans that none of us can dispute. 

I will be back in Pensacola occasionally and look forward to running into y’all at the many other local dining spots we have in this great town. Thank you all for the Love!

We're staying OPEN!!!

The community support over the past few weeks was huge!
All this attention brought people like Pablo to be interested in acquiring the business and this is what made it all work. Negotiations were much easier due to the huge community support and we got the deal done fast!
December will be a great month for us, we will be OPEN while we transition and prepare for a full hand off of TM operations on January 1st. Come by to meet Pablo & the team you've always loved (theyre all staying). Our product will stay the same and I (Gabe) will continue to be involved in caring for our customer experience now and into the future ~ so long as Tacos Mexicanos exists I'll be caring for it even if I'm in Mexico.

UPDATE! - Pablo Hernandez owner of & is gonna keep the Tacos Mexicanos legacy going.
He came in as a buyer who wants to carry on what Gaby and I started in 2016.
This means TM will remain open without skipping a beat, I’ll stay involved at a brand level knowing that there’s an owner to handle the day to day needs of the business.
I want to properly introduce Pablo and will be posting some videos very soon where we go into more detail for what to expect in this transition. For now you can be sure that Tacos Mexicanos is here to stay.
