This one time I was working behind the bar and this guy came in that I had worked with at a previous job years before.

We had a conversation about how things were with his family, about the old job, etc.

He didn’t have much to say.

Pays his tab, leaves.

A few minutes go by and I grab the receipt with his name and signature on it.

It wasn’t him. At all.

Still think about that to this day.

Good morning, everyone!

Just a quick update, my best friend Kendra underwent her colectomy Tuesday and is doing well, aside from being in a lot of pain.

We are so thankful for those who have already donated to the GoFundMe to help her with post-op essentials associated with colon removal.

She is currently working on an Amazon Wishlist so that those willing to help that way can, too. I’ll get that posted when she is feeling well enough to complete it.

She’s expecting to get to go home within the next few days and get back on her feet and hopefully back to a sense of normalcy soon.

We only offer our specialty dogs three times a year: opening day, the World Series, and the MLB All Star game.

With the All Star game tomorrow, the 1/4 pound specialty-topped hot dogs are making a return.
