A little Station 18 update! 🚒🍕

After A Watch officially won our First Responder Competition, we learned a little more about how the station operates and realized there are only a few firefighters on each watch.

We wanted our donation to go a little further, so we decided to feed all three watches at Station 18. ❤️

A Watch received their winning delivery,
we had the chance to deliver to C Watch today..
Which can only mean.. B Watch is next!! 🍕

We’ve really enjoyed getting to meet the different crews at Station 18 and having another opportunity to give back to the people who do so much for our community.

And just so there’s no confusion, A Watch still gets the bragging rights for winning. 😂

Just a little gratitude post today. ❤️🍕

We had the chance to deliver some pizzas to the winners of our competition, Station 18, ✨ A WATCH ✨ (they wanted me to be very specific about that 😂), and I’m honestly so thankful we get to do things like this.

Giving back to the people who give so much to our community means a lot to us. Thank you to all of our firefighters and first responders for everything you do every single day.

It was great getting to learn a little more about Escambia County Fire Rescue, spend a few minutes with the guys from A Watch, and personally say thank you for the work they do to keep our community safe.

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of a community that supports one another, and we’ll never take for granted the opportunities we get to give a little of that support back. 🚒❤️

WE HAVE A WINNER! 🚒✨

After a week of voting, Escambia County Fire Rescue - Station 18, A watch has officially been voted our First Responder Contest winner! A HUGE thank you to everyone who voted, shared, and showed love to our local first responders. We love seeing all of the crews being represented, and being able to give back to our community!

And of course, congratulations to Station 18, A watch. Your people showed up and showed out in the comments! We can't wait to get you guys fed! 🍕🎉

✨ IT’S TIME TO VOTE AGAIN! ✨

We’ve done teachers, we’ve done nurses, and this time we’re showing some love to our local FIRST RESPONDERS! 🚒🚓🚑

We want to know who your favorite first responder team is in Escambia or Santa Rosa County! Firefighters, Law Enforcement, EMS and paramedics are all in the running! The team with the most votes is getting a pizza party from East Hill Pizza!

To vote: Comment below with the team you’re voting for. Give us the name of a specific station, unit, shift or crew. If you don’t know all of that, just give us the department or agency name and we’ll figure it out when we tally the votes.

Voting is open TODAY, Monday, September 7, through Monday, September 14. We’ll tally everything up after voting closes and announce the winner Tuesday, September 15!

A few quick rules:
• One person = one vote
• The team must serve Escambia or Santa Rosa County
• Voting closes Monday, September 14 at 11:59 PM
• Winner announced Tuesday, September 15
