Nowak Enterprises, Inc., is seeking a professional, part-time bookkeeper for our restaurant operations and affiliated companies. NEI owns and operates 6 McDonald's restaurants in Pensacola, FL. A flexible work schedule is available during normal business hours with approx. 25-30 hrs per week. Starting pay is $16-18/hour, based on experience. We're looking for a friendly addition to our small office staff who brings qualified skills through any combination of education or experience.

- Capture daily data polled from restaurants
- Import data into general ledger, spreadsheets, and other bookkeeping software
- Reconcile credit card sales and deposits
- Make daily entries of invoices from mail, email, or automated bank drafts
- Complete weekly accounts payable check runs; enter, print, and distribute checks to vendors
- Import timekeeping data and provide to in-house or 3rd-party payrolls processor
- Complete various spreadsheets and basic reports
- Pay monthly sales tax for each company
- Reconcile bank statements
- Research discrepancies and make corrections
- Complete month-end reports, balancing general ledger with restaurant reporting
- Process quarterly payroll reports and pay associated taxes; make corresponding journal entries
- Track and pay all required business licenses
- Provide reports to CPA for preparation of income statements and tax returns

Nowak Enterprises is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our McDonald's restaurants. Ideal candidates should have work experience in HVAC, building/restaurant maintenance, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and basic construction. Applicant's skill sets should include a willingness to cooperated and communicate with co-workers and supervisors; the ability to assess, prioritize, and organize work projects; the ability to train and motivate; a respect for the importance of customer service; and dutiful yet flexible attention to details and job duties.
