We have heard the opinions of the people! Yāall have spoken, and we have listened. There will be massive changes coming to the menu and the schedule! The ācouncilā ie, all the employees and both bosses, will be convening and having a meeting of the minds, so more changes may come, or minor adjustments to the listed. So far, the changes I have heard are:
A: Starting October 1, the long-awaited weekend opening WILL HAPPEN. We will have to close on Mondays, we couldnāt find a way around it with Chuckās cooking schedule, keeping in mind that everything but the tater salad and ranch are made from scratch. BUT, in exchange, we will be open EVERY SATURDAY š»!!! After 22 years open, we will have a weekend day of operation! For everyone who works and normally canāt make it during the week, this is for yall! And donāt forget the pet friendly patio for Saturday brunch with the fur babies š.
B: I have heard tell that the beloved and elusive Cuban sandwich will make a possibly permanent return, as well as everyoneās favorite Chicken Frazer, which we had to cut years ago due to being unable to keep it in stock. Itās seriously delicious if youāve never had it. I am pretty sure those changes are sticking. This is at least the initial word from the bosses. I donāt know when theyāll be put back, but my best guess is around October, same as the hour changes.
3: the doubled delivery radius is still in the works! Blame me and the slowness lately. We canāt bring on our extra backup driver without being able to pay them, and itās been a little low at the moment with all the back to school and costs being what they are for everyone. We understand and weāre doing our best to stay open for everyone š«”. The other reason is that I have to pour over maps to determine our current radius for Max, and then see whatās feasible from there. I will be running a poll to see just where everyone is wanting their deliveries, since I know some of you changed job locations or live farther out. We canāt go to anywhere like cantonment unfortunately, but Iām thinking things like the airport area are probably doable. But itās a process to figure out š®āšØ.
Also, soup season is coming soon, and remember that we always start and end it on Creamy Lemon Chicken Soup! And, I will be resurrecting the Creamy Lemon Fanclub List, where you can leave me your name and number and I can text or call you to let you know ahead of time if weāll be doing the soup as a special, as the rest of the season it does come and go randomly throughout the rotation of other delicious flavors. That way no one misses out, since it tends to sell really fast!
