Good afternoon everyone,
I want to quickly address a post that appeared on the Tacos El Fluffy page earlier today. We’re honestly not sure who made that post, and I did not create or approve it.
I’ve been at the shop all day welcoming and serving all the wonderful guests who came in today, so I was surprised to see it as well.
To clarify — Tacos El Fluffy is NOT closing.
We are open and operating.
Our current hours are:
Thursday – Friday: 8 AM – 7 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 7 PM
Sunday: 9 AM – 6 PM

We’re excited to confirm that Tacos El Fluffy will reopen tomorrow, November 7th, from 10 AM to 7 PM!

Due to recent events, we’ll be adjusting our work hours from six days a week to four days a week.

Our new hours will be:
Thursday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Opening the restaurant is important, but taking care of my team is top priority.

Thank you all for the love and support.
The past few days have been incredibly busy as my family and I navigate some major life changes. I need a little more time to process and make some important decisions, so we’ll be pushing our opening day to November 7 at 10 AM.

This isn’t our usual post, but it’s our reality right now.
My mom has been the heart and soul of Tacos El Fluffy since day one, and right now our family is facing a challenge that is impacting our lives and those around us.

We’ll share more as we have answers, but for now, Tacos El Fluffy will be closed this week to spend time together in family and try to figure out what’s next in this journey of life.

Escambia High School is competing for a chance to win a $1 million field upgrade and a new weight room through the Mobile Friday Night Lights competition — an opportunity that could make a huge impact for local students.

As someone who mentors at Escambia High and visits at least once a week, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible potential, resilience, and pride these students carry. Over the past three years, I’ve also had the privilege of working alongside many dedicated educators who give their all every single day, often with limited resources. This isn’t just about improving facilities this can give students and teachers the support, tools, and environment they truly deserve to grow, learn, and thrive together.

Supporting this cause doesn’t cost anything — just a few moments to vote and share. Every single vote helps bring our community closer together and shows our students that Pensacola stands behind them.

Our fresh, homemade tortillas are one of the things we’re best known for. I’ve had the privilege of hearing so many stories and seeing the nostalgia they bring to our regulars. Some even say our tortillas remind them of home — and I’ve been lucky enough to share our recipe with a few of them!

But I always tell them, what truly makes them special isn’t just the recipe — it’s the hands that make them. Every batch of dough is hand-processed with care and respect by people who see it as an honor to do this for others.

Because at Tacos El Fluffy, every tortilla carries a little piece of our heart — and we’re proud to share that with you. ❤️

As of today, we’ve had the honor of providing meals to over 1,300 service members and their families. It’s a blessing and a true honor. 🙏🇺🇸

The last few days have been amazing in so many ways. It’s truly a privilege to be able to practice my craft. This rush is something we haven’t experienced consistently before, and it’s really put many of my procedures to the test, as well as our patience, and our teamwork. The kitchen really feels like an episode of The Bear. Episode varies on who you ask 😭
