Good evening, everyone.
I’ve never been the best with words, so I ask for your understanding on this. With a heavy heart, I somberly share that today, October 4th is Local’s official last day of business.
I cannot fully express how deeply grateful I am for the love and support our little community has shown me. Serving each and every one of you over the past two years has been my absolute honor and privilege.
A sincere thank-you to my family for their constant love, unwavering support, and patience through every high and low. To all my employees — past and present — I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation for your hard work, dedication, and the pride you’ve taken in your roles. None of this would have been possible without you.
I would also like to take the time to thank the The Town of Pennington Gap and the many local businesses that have supported me along the way — Stone Mountain Yogurt , Larry Elliott at Our Hometown Appliance Store, &bots , Moving Forward Physical Therapy, Tasha's Restaurant, Painting Outside the Lines Studio, Lee Theatre,UScellular , Sidney Kolband Co., Powell Valley News,Sturgill Funeral Home, Province Funeral Home , The Body Shop Gym, Markets , and the wonderful team at Jaycee Medley Davis Whitney Rouse…
Your check-ins and continued encouragement have meant more to me than words can convey. Each of these businesses is run by outstanding individuals whose dedication is reflected in the quality of the products and services they bring to our community. I wish you all continued growth and lasting success in every endeavor ahead.
That being said this is not the end of our hometown coffee shop. Beginning in November, I will be leaving you in the hands of Brianna Belcher, the new owner. She will be continuing to serve most—if not all—of your favorite coffees and be adding her own spin to our menu.
Lastly Please remember, this is not a farewell, but simply a “see you soon.” If you have any questions or would like updates on Outsiders Pizzeria and Bar, don’t hesitate to reach out to me through my personal Facebook.
P.S. Facebook won’t let me post both photos and videos together, but here are a few of my favorite moments from the past two years.
With gratitude and love!
