As we observe this day of thanks, we wish to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who has contributed to our efforts in supporting the people of Jamaica. The first few barrels have been shipped, and additional ones will follow. We have also raised over $1400 to provide drinking water and vital supplies to remote island areas. Your support is truly valued.

Dear Five Mile Family, We are delighted to announce that take-out Jamaican-inspired dinner options will be available this Thursday, 11/20. You may select from a chicken dinner (jerk, curry, or brown stew) or jerk ribs. Each dinner includes rice, steamed vegetables, cornbread, and butternut squash soup. Pick up is between 5pm-7pm that day. All proceeds will support families in Jamaica affected by Hurricane Melissa. You can order meals for pickup on our website below. Dear Five Mile Family, We are reaching out in response to the devastating effects of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, which has resulted in over 30 confirmed fatalities and left hundreds without homes or power. As a business owned/operated by individuals of Jamaican descent, we feel a deep sense of responsibility to contribute to the relief efforts. We are currently collecting non-perishable items, including flour, oil, sugar, and rice, to send to Jamaica. Furthermore, we are providing financial support to address the critical issue of access to clean water. Any support you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

In the near future, we will be hosting a fundraiser dinner featuring traditional Jamaican dishes, with all proceeds going towards relief efforts. Thank you for your consideration.
