It is with heavy hearts that we announce The Bank Restaurant is permanently closed, effective immediately. Although we had hoped to be open today, due to very limited staff, we are unable to do so while maintaining the high level of service you deserve.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported us over the years. From our loyal patrons to those who dined with us during special moments, you have been the lifeblood of this restaurant, and you will all be deeply missed.

The memories we’ve shared together will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we hope The Bank’s legacy will continue with new possibilities in the future.

We will be open until 4:00 this afternoon (Friday 10/11). With minimal staff we will not be able to provide the quality of service for our evening customers we have always strived to achieve. We will be open again tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:00am. Another update will be posted later today or tomorrow morning regarding Saturday's hours.

Subject: Important Announcement - The Bank Restaurant Closing

Dear Friends and Loyal Customers,

It is with heartfelt emotion that we announce the closing of The Bank Restaurant, effective at the end of business on Saturday, October 12, 2024. After much thought, we have made the decision to retire and begin a new chapter in our lives.

The Bank Restaurant was established in 2002, and we had the privilege of acquiring it in January 2015. Over the years, this small but special establishment has welcomed countless wonderful individuals, including celebrities and government officials. But more importantly, it has given us the opportunity to meet and form friendships with so many of you—friendships we will cherish forever.

This decision has not been easy. We will miss seeing so many of you on a regular basis and having the interesting conversations that have become such a part of our daily lives. However, the time has come for us to step away and embrace retirement. Our hope has always been that someone would carry on the legacy of The Bank Restaurant, but unfortunately, that has not happened yet.

Without your unwavering support, we would not have survived the challenges we faced, including a devastating tornado and a pandemic of massive proportions—both occurring within less than a year. We have always recognized and deeply appreciated the fact that you chose to dine with us, passing other restaurants to spend your time and meals here. For that, we will be forever grateful.

Although our restaurant’s chapter is closing, we remain hopeful that someone will step forward to keep The Bank Restaurant’s legacy alive. There is still an opportunity to acquire the restaurant, along with its liquor license and the building.

While we are stepping away from this beloved business, we look forward to continuing as active members of the Pendleton community. We will miss our incredible customers, our amazing staff, and will hold the wonderful memories we have created together near close to our hearts.

We encourage our family of customers to visit us this last week. For anyone who has a Bank Restaurant gift card balance, we encourage you to use it this week.

Thank you for allowing us the privilege to serve and feed this community for nearly 10 years.
