Thank you, Pendleton, from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
As many of you have heard, the Diner will have new local owners beginning September 8th.
When we bought the Diner more than three years ago, we did it for one simple reason: we wanted to help keep it open for Pendleton. Small towns need their local places—the places where people gather, catch up, share a meal, and know they belong.
What we never expected was just how much this community would come to mean to us.
Over these last 3+ years, we’ve made friendships we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. The love, encouragement, loyalty, and support so many of you have shown us has meant more than we could ever put into words.
The week of August 24th will be our last week at the Diner. If you have a chance, please stop in. We would truly love to see you, say thank you, share a few memories, and probably give out more than a few hugs.
We’re also excited that the Diner will remain locally owned, and we’ll definitely be popping in from time to time to see our friends and support the new owners as they begin their chapter.
So, Pendleton, thank you for making us feel the heart of this community. Thank you for embracing two crazy people who decided to buy a restaurant with absolutely no restaurant experience. 😂 And thank you for allowing us to be part of something that became so much more than a business to us.
And finally, to our amazing staff—there simply aren’t enough words. Thank you for your hard work, your loyalty, the laughs, the crazy days, and for becoming family along the way.
We love you guys. And we love this community.
