1826 is a casual Bistro in downtown Pendleton, serving dinner in a warm atmosphere, featuring a wonderful patio.

1826 is located in Pendleton’s historic Farmers Society Hall. Built by the Farmers’ Society of South Carolina from 1826-1828, the site has been the meeting place for the society since that time, and is the oldest Farmers Hall still in continuous use in the U.S.

Join us, Tuesday June 16th, for a Sicilian wine dinner inspired by the eve of summer. We’ll be pairing the first fruits of summer in six sunny courses with the wines of Girolamo Russo, Azienda Agricola COS, and Gulfi Cantina. It will be an evening of classic summer ingredients from our favorite local farms and wines from throughout the island. We’ll be joined by Tyler Nuss from Haw River Wine Merchant. Surprise! We have a late addition to this spring’s events. Join us, this Tuesday, May 19th for a wine tasting and dinner with Willamette Valley winemaker, Will Hamilton of Violin Wine. We’ll be pairing Will’s distinct Oregon Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a light spring inspired dinner, four wines, four courses on the patio. Come meet the winemaker, enjoy the patio. Cheers!
