Four Generations of Fine Italian Cuisine

In 1932, Anna Travaglione opened Mother Anna’s Restaurant on Hanover Street in Boston’s historic North End. Her delicious food kept people coming back for more, and she soon drew a steady crowd of “regulars” who dined in the restaurant weekly. The recipes were kept in the family and passed down through the generations. Currently, John Caparella (Anna’s gra

ndson) and his family continue to carry one the traditions that were started over 80 years ago in the North End Location. Anna’s great-grandson, Alan Caparella, now brings his family’s recipes and traditions to Pembroke, Massachusetts. Enjoy some of Mother Anna’s recipes in the elegant yet comfortable dining room or spacious bar that is equipped with plenty of televisions. We offer take-out and a full catering menu for all of your entertaining needs! The restaurant also offers a private dining room that can be reserved for parties of all occasions. Meet Maeve!❤️

Maeve has been part of the Mother Anna’s family for about a year, working as one of our takeout & host team members! From helping guests with their orders to making sure everyone feels welcome, Maeve brings such a kind and bright energy to the team.

When she’s not at Mother Anna’s, Maeve is heading to concerts, soaking up time at the beach, playing sports, or making memories with her friends and family. She’s also getting ready for her junior year at Pembroke High School, with hopes of studying business in the future! 👏🏼

And of course, we couldn’t spotlight Maeve without finding out her Mother Anna’s favorites!

Happy Team Member Tuesday! 👏

This week we’re introducing Noah & Brandon, two of the hardworking faces that keep Mother Anna’s running so smoothly!

Whether they’re keeping the dining room spotless, helping behind the bar, or making sure your experience is a great one, these two are always ready to jump in with a smile.

Outside of work, you’ll find them staying active, spending time with friends, and getting ready for an exciting new chapter in college. Brandon is heading to Bowdoin College to play football, and Noah is starting at Bryant University to study Business. We’re so proud of both of them and can’t wait to see all they accomplish!

If you see Noah or Brandon around the restaurant, be sure to say hello and wish them luck! ❤️🍝
