Before everybody started jumping on the Christmas Tree Cheesecake wave, I was already in that kitchen putting my foot in it, turning a childhood Christmas favorite into something that had folks talking, ordering, and coming back for MORE!

Every time I say I’m about to slow down, take a break, or stop making these cheesecakes, here she come with another bright idea! 😂

COOKIE MONSTER CHEESECAKE. 🍪💙

This ain’t the little blue dude from Sesame Street. This one came out the Governor’s kitchen with an attitude.

Loaded with chocolate chip cookies, Oreos, cookie crumble, and that rich, creamy cheesecake that doesn’t need an introduction. Every slice is thick, reckless, and built to make you forget you said you were only having “a little piece.” 😂

We don’t do basic over here.
We don’t cut corners.
And we damn sure don’t make grocery-store cheesecake.

RED VELVET OREO CHEESECAKE — THE GOVERNOR WAY. 👑

Whole Oreos buried INSIDE the cheesecake.
A layer of rich Red Velvet Cake.
Oreo cookie crumble packed around the outside.
Then finished off like it’s supposed to be.

As the sun sets here in the farm, I’m going to leave you with one last post for the day.

Y’ALL KEEP CALLING IT BANANA PUDDING… I TOOK THAT PERSONAL. 😤🍌🥃

This ain’t your auntie’s banana pudding dumped in a pan with some wafers on top.

This is BANANA PUDDING CHEESECAKE… on a BOURBON BANANAS FOSTER level.

Yeah. Read that again.

I took that old-school Southern flavor everybody knows and gave it a grown-man suit and a glass of bourbon. 🥃

We’re talking a buttery vanilla wafer crust laying the foundation.

Then comes that thick, rich cheesecake, but I didn’t just throw some banana flavoring in there and call it a day.

BOURBON BANANAS FOSTER is worked INTO the cheesecake. 🔥🍌🥃

Bananas. Butter. Brown sugar. Bourbon. Caramelized down until that flavor gets deep, dark and disrespectful.

And because apparently I don’t know when to leave well enough alone…

I PUT THAT SAME ENERGY IN THE ICING.

A rich bourbon banana cream cheese icing, piped heavy around the whole thing, vanilla wafers standing at attention, crushed wafer crumbs across the top, and enough banana-pudding flavor running through it to let you know exactly where it came from.

But it doesn’t look like banana pudding.

That was the point.

Different.
Sophisticated.
Southern as hell.
And still gritty enough to have some dirt under its fingernails. 😮‍💨

I don’t want to make the cheesecake you’ve already seen 100 times.

I want you staring at it trying to figure out what the hell I just did.

Then I want that first bite to shut the whole table up.

Ladies… I need y’all to start asking the IMPORTANT questions before you get emotionally invested. 😂

Can that man make homemade biscuits from scratch?

Not them biscuits you smack on the counter and pray over.

I’m talking flour on the counter, butter cut in, dough folded, oven hot… real biscuits.

Because being handsome is cool. Having a little money is cool. But when it’s Sunday morning, you walking around in his T-shirt, hair everywhere, hungry as hell… can that man FEED YOU?! 😂

If he can’t make biscuits, fry something, smoke something, grill something, or at least know his way around a kitchen… ladies, I’m not telling you to leave that man.

I’m just saying The Governor would never have you living like that. 😂😮‍💨

Around here, we believe a woman ought to be able to sit down, cross her legs, look pretty and hear:

“Baby, food ready.”

Biscuits hot. Butter melting. Kitchen smelling disrespectful.

NUMBER FIVE TODAY. 😤🔥

And would you believe me if I told you this was a PECAN PIE CHEESECAKE?

Yeah… I went there.

Started with a buttery pecan graham cracker crust.
Then laid down a caramel butter cheesecake; rich, smooth, and disrespectfully good.

Finished it with pecan cream cheese icing loaded with real pieces of pecans.

But here’s the kicker…

The client only gave me ONE request:
“Make it space themed.” 🌌🪐

That’s it. No blueprint. No picture to copy. No twenty questions.

And once again, my answer was simple:
“I GOT YOU.”

Five cheesecakes deep TODAY, fresh off a week-long work trip, running on fumes and somehow we ended up in another damn galaxy. 😂

At this point, I don’t need you to tell me exactly what to make. Give me the flavor. Give me the vision. Then get out the kitchen and let The Governor work. 👑

Because anybody can follow a recipe.

I CREATE.

Pecan pie cheesecake dressed like the Milky Way because apparently normal just ain't in my vocabulary.
