Many of you have already switched to following my new GB page, but in case you haven’t, here is new name to search for. My current account will be deactivated this Friday. My Instagram account will remain the same so if you only follow me there you do not need to switch anything. I will continue to post on this old account for a few days just to make sure I can let as many people know as possible. It is frustrating to deal with this stuff but absolutely not a big deal when compared to the major problems some people deal with here and all over the world.

I have a feeling a lot of people will be coming in to the shop like this today. Try as I might, I cannot get Janie to go out with an umbrella to help our customers stay dry. 🤣 We open at 8:00 and close at 5:00. Our soup is Broccoli and Cheddar. Be safe on the roads!

It may seem strange to some that today is called Good Friday when it is in reference to the day a man died. But this was no ordinary man. This was Jesus and it was His sole purpose in coming to earth in human form. A price had to be paid for the past, present and future sins of mankind. But the ‘Good’ in Good Friday is that He didn’t stay dead. He rose again and ascended to Heaven where He is preparing a home for those who believe on His name. This truly was a good day for us. Remember that we are open from 8:00-1:00 today. Have a blessed Easter weekend!

For all of you ACOV school people, happy first day of Spring Break tomorrow! It seems like it has been years since our schools have not lost any days because of making up snow days. So enjoy your time off and the nice weather that seems to be heading our way. We want to remind you of our a few changes to our hours for the next few days. Thursday is normal, Good Friday 8:00-1:00, Saturday 8:00-2:00 and Monday 8:00-5:00. Our soup of the day will be Twice Baked Potato. God bless you!!

Ok, if we can hang on a few more days I think the rain might be ending!! We can do it! We like soup, like this Chicken Tortilla soup we have today, but not soupy weather. ☔️ Be safe whatever you do today and smile a lot!

Oh my this sounds like such a great idea on this cold Saturday!! But there are some of us that need to be out and about so all of you who can stay in your pjs all day - enjoy it!! Let’s pray for the safety of all the kids and staff from PHS who will be going to the prom this evening. Have fun everyone and make good memories!

Happy Friday to you!! It’s hard to believe that Easter is coming up so quickly. We wanted to let you know that our hours on Good Friday will be 8:00 - 1:00. Our hours on Monday,
April 18, will be 8:00-5:00. Today we have Roasted Red Pepper Bisque for lunch. Have a great day!

Tomorrow is Chicken Tortilla Tuesday so stop by for a hearty bowl for lunch. We will also be getting a fresh supply of Mimi’s Cheesecake that includes two new flavors, Cinnamon Roll and Birthday Cake. I am going to have a hard time not buying all the Cinnamon Roll for myself!! We usually have the order by noon, but please call the shop if you are coming just for cheesecake. 😊 We will also have 4 other flavors. We hope to see you tomorrow!
