Hello Friends! First, we are so very sorry for the extended closed period and any confusion that may have occurred! As you may be aware, at the beginning of January, necessary repairs and renovations had started, along with other operational changes. The plan was in place and underway. Very early into the work, Brian was given an opportunity that would require him to step sway from Tollbooth. This decision wasn’t taken lightly. After many prayers, discussions, much deliberation, and many heart strings pulled, it became clear that this opportunity was the best thing for our family.
We are so very grateful to all of you, our friends, who have given us an opportunity to see if coffee could be sold out of an old tollbooth. With your help, and the Grace of God, we have shown that it can. Your kindness has sustained us, as we had much to learn in such a small space. We have shared many smiles, laughs, and some tears. The City of Peculiar has been awesome.
We will still be finishing up things at the booth over the upcoming weeks. We will be posting exact days and times so that anyone with gift cards can cash them out.
The business will be for sale. Our hope is that someone will keep it local. It’s such fun and has so much potential. Brian would be willing to train if someone so desired. Any inquires can reach us through here.
Friends, it’s been nearly 4 years. It has been an absolutely amazing ride thanks to all of you! We will miss you guys but will hopefully see you again! Thank you for your patronage and your friendship! Love you guys!!! ❣️
