Yes, today is a wonderful day. Today is Marcus's 25th birthday. We know it's been a minute since we have done a set up, but it's days like today that I am even more thankful to still be here. Simple Fixins is still going strong and doing set ups just not as frequent as before. 25 ohhhh my.

WOW! We just got invited to attend one of the biggest growing Summer events in Giles County, Virginia. The 3rd annual Dirty Dancing Days Summer Festival at Mountain Lake Lodge this Sat. the 15th from 12pm to 11pm. We couldn't more excited to be going. As fans of the movie and residents of Giles we hope to share some good ole' hot dogs, burgers and all the fixins to all those attending and dancing. Of course, we will have our watermelon cups and treats as well. Be sure to check out the site for more info, and we hope to see ya there.

Are you ready for The Newport Agricultural Fair? With the DOG DAYS of Summer happening, we thought what a better time to show our love to the people of Giles County, Virginia and do a hot DOG special at the fair this year. Stop by and participate at our stand and see if you get your meal FREE. We also wanted to mention, with some of the fruit and veggie concerns these days we will not serve lettuce and know that we have always double washed and rinsed our lemons and watermelons before we cut into them. We also keep our watermelons whole and on ice til ordered to ensure that you get the freshest and coldest watermelons served. We really miss seeing everyone as often as we have in the past, but it sure has helped in getting some of the HONEY-DO's done. Hope to see ya there this Friday and Saturday.

We will be at Huckleberry Park for Christiansburg Farmers Market on Thursday from 3 to 7. Gonna be a hot one, stop by and get a shaker or a sno cone when you try one of our burgers or dogs.

Someone asked why and how our dog prices are the prices they are. Simple Fixins uses Nathans all beef hot dog and add an all-beef chili. Have you seen the price of beef lately?
NO GMO & NO TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein) no FILLERS in our dogs or chili. Not everyone serves Nathans hot dogs. Some vendors use cheap pork with chicken and cheap beef wieners. We hope this helps. If you haven't tried our grub, you should. We'll be at Christiansburg Farmers Market this Thursday 3 -7 and then at The Replenish Festival on Friday and Saturday.
