It was June 2019 when we lit the fire on this “silly” idea. What if we sold BBQ and cupcakes?! Something savory and something sweet. Something that people could connect to… Ha! We had no idea just how impactful that decision would be at the time.
We started small at our local brewery, Anderby Brewing. Then the buzz started… “Where’s Keebler’s? When will they be back?” We made an investment and purchased our smoker, Hancock… and then the floodgates opened! Other local breweries welcomed us with open arms! (We love you, Pontoon Brewing, Firemaker Brewing, Round Trip Brewing, Ironshield Brewing, Cultivation Brewing, Outrun Brewing, and Variant Brewing!)
We participated in local community festivals and events. And perhaps the highlight of our business? We served the Philadelphia 76ers—TWICE! It’s been an incredible six-year run.
But, Keebler Krew, the reality is that we haven’t been able to serve you as we’d like over the past two years. And that has led us to the difficult decision to stop operations. Our lives are changing, our children are growing older 🙂, and it’s become challenging to give the business (and you) the time and dedication it truly deserves.
We genuinely want to thank EACH OF YOU for being a part of our journey! Without your feedback and support, we wouldn’t have made it six years—most food businesses don’t! We are forever grateful that you allowed us to be a part of your homes and your lives.
So, as we close the smoke stack and turn off the oven, we can only hope that we made your faces smile and your stomachs happy over the years. Keep us in your prayers, as we plan to do the same for you.
