I honestly wasn’t sure if it would work out; opening a coffee shop while the world was still recovering from a pandemic was scary especially after we closed our first one right before similar stores were told to lock down in 2020. Let me share how it started…
While stationed in North Carolina we opened In His Presence Coffee, Books & More in 2019. A super cute shop with specialty coffee, books, and a space for children to play while the parents enjoyed their coffee and bakery items. It had the cutest Red Door ever!
Nine months later we closed (it felt like the right thing to do) little did we know that just two months later the government called for full shut down.
Talk about God’s favor and guidance!
Then we decided to move from North Carolina, we looked at homes in Florida and all over Georgia. We ended up in Georgia and what an awesome decision. We moved in February of 2021 and opened Rooted Café August of 2021.
Almost two years! I think we need to celebrate 🎉🎊
Two years later, there are still people that come through our doors every day for the first time looking for the specialty coffee experience.
You know… the one that honors and highlight the natural flavors of coffee always freshly roasted and brewed with pride and excellence and we absolutely love it.
We love learning more about coffee to share with you.
We love when you brew your own coffee at home because you felt empowered by our team.
We love when you share us with your friends and family. Meeting some over the summer was a highlight.
… we love to be the space you chose to stop by and grab a cup of coffee and a small bite by yourself or with a friend.
In the rush of it all and we pause to take it all in and our hearts explode!
