The trailer’s final voyage as ‘Uncle Pig’s Barbeque Pit’. It’s heading down to No Limit Designs and Prints to have our logo removed and Randy’s put on. While this may be a bittersweet moment, it’s more bittersweet having this beautiful trailer just sitting there and not being utilized and appreciated and that is exactly what TheCHERRYPITSBBQ team is going to do!! I am extremely blessed, and excited, for Randy and his bbq team! Thank you Mike Licciardello and Denise Wenger Licciardello towing it for me. I love you guys and appreciate you for doing this. And Mark Flanigan- what a ride buddy, what a ride! And on that note- Uncle Pig’s Barbeque Pit is NOT done competing!! More news to follow…… I know that Ercole Chila is smiling down today. ❤️🙏

Hey everybody!! I’d like to introduce you to Randy from TheCHERRYPITSBBQ out of Houston, TX! Randy recently purchased our competition trailer!!! After meeting Randy personally, I am absolutely confident that he will love and cherish this trailer as much as Ercole did, as well as take care of it exactly how Ercole did. Randy was a KCBS judge who decided to take a shot in competing. After getting his first call at his very first competition, he was hooked. He then went on to sign up for 20 more competitions and decided that he needed a trailer. It was very emotional emptying out and cleaning Ercole’s trailer, but I know Ercole would’ve given me his blessing to sell the trailer to Randy. While he didn’t know Ercole personally, he knew all about Ercole’s legacy and about Uncle Pig’s Barbeque Pit and they have several mutual friends in the bbq world. Randy- thank you so much for giving this trailer a new ‘life’ . I know you and your family will enjoy this trailer as much as Ercole did. It’s too beautiful of a trailer not to be enjoyed and utilized, which I know you will! After visiting with Randy, he came to NJ as a friend but he left NJ as family! Please be sure to like Randy’s page and follow him as he starts his bbq journey! From the bottom of my heart, thank you Randy! I am absolutely certain that Ercole handpicked you!!

🔥If you are a SERIOUS Pitmaster looking for a SERIOUS trailer- here it is!! When Ercole designed this trailer, he thought of everything!! This 2024 SGD trailer is 8.5 x 34 Ft long. It has all the amenities you could think of! Generator included. There’s a mounted Outlaw Smoker on the back porch and I’m considering selling that with the trailer. He paid well over $80,000 for trailer that is practically brand new still. All offers will be considered. I really would love to find someone that will utilize and enjoy this beautiful trailer as Ercole and his crew did. I will even look into having the wrap removed, at my cost, as an added incentive. PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS INQIURE. * I will post a video of this trailer on our page immediately after this is posted.*🔥❤️

Team Uncle Pig’s headed to Frederick, MD last weekend to attend the Mid Atlantic Barbecue Association Team of the Year Awards Banquet. Having only competed in a fraction of the amount of competitions we normally do, Ercole and his crew managed to place in all categories:

Chicken 4th place; Ribs 2nd place; Pork 4th place; Brisket 6th place; Overall 6th place.

We were even lucky enough to have won several contest entries, brisket from Mister Brisket, Inc., a box of ci**rs and rubs from Team Disruption Rick Manzi!

While it was a very bittersweet occasion and Ercole’s absence was heavily felt, it was very heartwarming to see our bbq family🥰

Hats off to the MABA Board to hosting such a wonderful event. 👏👏👏👏 Everything was exceptional and we had a wonderful time.

As the 2026 BBQ season approaches, we are planning on competing in a handful of contests. Good luck to everyone on the upcoming season and may your names be called often and last! 🏆
