Rainshadow Coffee Roasting Co. is HIRING!
We are looking for someone to join our small team here at our roasting facility to help with everyday production and operation. Tasks will include grinding, weighing and packaging bags of coffee, boxing and shipping web orders, delivering coffee in company van and operating various computer programs for billing and shipping etc.
Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time and lift 30-50 pounds intermittently throughout the day. This is a production job so there are repetitive tasks but there are also varied tasks that constantly change throughout the day. There are fans, grinders, roasters and weighing machines running all day in the shop so the environment is noisy but not loud. This is a very casual work environment with 1-2 other people working per shift, and lots of room for growth if interested.
We are looking for someone mature, self sufficient, lives locally, has a vehicle, non smoker, can work from 8am—5pm M-F if needed. Applicant must have a clean driving record and ideally be excited about coffee.
Position is 30 hrs per week $18.00 hr. to start and will move up to $20.00 after initial 3 month training trial period. We are not looking for a transitional/seasonal 6-month term employee/ high school student/ nursing student etc. we are looking for a long-term commitment of at least two years.
