These pretty little babies!

From tree to something delicious! For the event we catered, we were given the most beautiful California Figs to work with, and we had so much fun finding different ways to showcase them. We created chocolate covered dried figs finished with flaky salt and a grilled cheese station where guests could add fresh figs and homemade fig jam. We even jarred our own fig jam with a little help from my mom and a splash of Austin Hope w**e! And can we talk about how gorgeous these figs were before we even started? The colors, patterns and textures were almost too pretty to touch.

This past weekend, we had the honor of catering the and Cherry Bombe Farmers and Makers event! We crafted so many delicious bites using California grown, locally sourced ingredients and had the best time bringing each one to life.

From grazing tables and savory bites to plenty of sweet treats, take a peek behind the scenes at the process of bringing this event together!

On the menu: CA Grown cheese and produce grazing table, prune cheddar almond bites, tiramisu stuffed prunes, prune coconut bon bons, chocolate covered dried figs with flaky salt, braised beef sliders, a grilled cheese station, prune jalapeño poppers, rare beef tenderloin on sweet potato coins and tomato tarts.
