We have been a family owned and operated business since 1971, serving the west coast of California for the past 41 years. After 36+ years in our Whittier location we are delighted to announce that we have relocated our cake studio in South Pasadena and are so excited to be a part of this community. In addition, we offer specialty cake designs or custom cupcakes and dessert bars for birthdays, baby showers, wedding showers, holidays, corporate events, red carpet galas and almost any special occasion you can dream of. We have a fantastic team of talented cake artists, led by owner Leslie Maynor-Anderson. Our cake masters are ready to help you create the unique centerpiece that best reflects the celebration of your special occasion. With an eye for cake design and a flavor for taste, each dessert is individually crafted to surpass your expectations in both presentation and palette. A consultation to design your wedding cake, birthday cake, or special occasion dessert may be scheduled by appointment and cake samples are provided for a tasting at this time.

It’s been a while since I put down the buttercream to say hi. I’m Leslie, the second generation owner of Fantasy Frostings. My mom, Joyce, founded the bakery back in 1971 in Pasadena and I’ve been professionally baking since before I could drive. It’s always been a family run operation, including my husband, Earl, who sometimes can be seen behind the wheel of our delivery truck. Some people call me the buttercream queen. We don’t do fondant. But we do buttercream really, really well. I’ve had the incredible pleasure of creating celebration cakes for generations of families, from wedding cakes to the next gen’s wedding cake and everything in between. I’ve recreated The White House for Ronald Regan, delivered Elizabeth Taylor’s wedding cake to Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch, and designed countless movie premier cakes to look like characters. I love what I do. My family loves what we do. And while I’m usually in the kitchen instead of on Instagram, I’m going to do my best to stop by more often. Cheers to a summer season of sweet moments and countless more cake memories.
