Come out to Coe Lake this Friday, July 24 to see Departure, a Journey Tribute Band, at Berea's Live at the Lake Concert Series. Check out the list of food trucks that will be attending this week. Vendors open at 6 pm, concert starts at 8 pm.

We offer a free shuttle from 5:30-10:15 from the Berea Recreation Center!

Nothing but luv (pun intended) and respect for Taste The Love Bbq currently serving until 7:00PM at 24700 Euclid Avenue, Euclid OH....and of course I posted the rest of their schedule because I'm posting late after today's visit.

Arron and JaNae are amongst the most gracious and hospitable husband and wife operations teams in North East Ohio mobile food game. JaNea "whatcha got" is a Marketing genius and runs the ones and two's on the Till and Arron got his face where it's supposed to be and that's in the Pit with his whole foot in it! Dudes good and when you're good you're good!

Pit Smoked Brisket, St Louis Cut Thick Spare Ribs, Long Bone Beef Ribs Smoked and not to mention their signature Smoked then Fried Wings...oh And sides, you ask?..... Check the photos... It's better than the thousand words that I got for them and even better when served and tasted!

Red Beans and Rice, Collards and JaNae's homemade Mac and cheese.... And the fresh cut and twice fried French fries of course your choice if slathered (all fresh and all amazing btw!)

Smokey if you are in need of some of the Smokey Good Things "here's your sign!"

Cannot be a hater if your a congratulator! And hell yeah I'll promote your BBQ if you're with it like these two are with it!

If our thing is "Do good things" then Taste is doing the thing!

PS. Sorry about the steam off them greens but if you know you know and bet it straight they are 🔥 yeah and dam Skippy that's hock in there...hell yeah!

There are two (only) in the entire N.E.O food truck game that when I say "Hello, Chef" I actually mean it..... This is one of those two!

Smokey's I'd like to re-introduce you to a group of peers that need absolutely NO introductions from us

bRaised in the CLE food truck is not only a true friend (he's the only one that visited me during a build out and was so encouraging and supportive) we engaged in many different conversations. Greg is a magnificent Culinarian with decades of food service handling experience. They are also on the Mount Rushmore of Family Owned and Family Operated small business. That's his amazingly talented and equally tolerant wife Stephanie, that other half (and better half 😜) of braised who keys is your tender juicy desires into the register!

Food Quality and freshness cannot be beat off this truck, your order is made a la minute from Chef Greg signature offerings.

My Old Man used to tell me "when you're good at something, you're good."

And Greg and Stephanie are definitely GOOD!

What's going on Smokeys,

A post to further my professional and personal embarrassment.

I am asking everyone to consider supporting the other Northeast Ohio BBQ operators who have advanced into the Cleveland.com "Best Of" voting. Not saying we would win at all....just saying the vote this year is placed better with the other four operators for your service.

While Black Kettle BBQ was honored to be included among the finalists, we are not currently operating a storefront and therefore do not have the daily opportunity to serve guests the way the other businesses in this category do.

The operators listed alongside us show up every day, open their doors, light their fires, and serve their communities. They have earned their place through hard work, consistency, and dedication to their craft. I have personally supported each of them as a customer and have tremendous respect for what they do.

Being considered among Northeast Ohio's best is a distinction that should be accompanied by the ability to serve the public daily, and at this moment Black Kettle BBQ cannot do that.

For those reasons, I would encourage you to support the businesses that are actively carrying the banner for barbecue in our region. They are all deserving operators and outstanding representatives of the craft.

As for Black Kettle BBQ, I remain committed to finding a path back to serving you. My goal has never changed. I simply want to provide quality food, value, and service to the people who have supported us throughout this journey and those that still have not been our guests yet.

Thank you for the kindness, encouragement, and patience you have shown us. I can't suffer the embarrassment of winning this thing and standing next to another more deserving operator who was permitted to put in the work and is doing it. I have more respect for the Hospitality Industry and myself then that.

I'm sincerely asking you to put your vote where it will matter for your service and theirs.
