Bob has operated a restaurant in Parker since October 13th, 1979. Originally the restaurant operated as a pizza, hoagie and we**ie shop. The original location was in a small corner of a trucking business located at the foot of the hill in Parker. Bob’s Place original name was Amsler’s Riverside Pizza. Bob soon out-grew the small corner and moved into the present location at 103 North Wayne Avenue
(the intersection of Washington Street (Rt. 268) and Wayne Avenue). We are now located at one of the busiest areas in Parker with the Parker Post office, Nextier Bank, Car Wash and Laundromat all with-in walking distance. Our menu still includes pizza, hoagies, and we**ies but it has been greatly expanded hence the need for a name change. At Bob’s Place Restaurant we take pride in the fact that we do the “almost lost” art of “home-made” cooking that your great grandmother did. Bob is often asked “What will the next “home-made” soup be?” or “What kind of “home-made” pies did your mother make?”
