I’m not sure what kind of Uncle that
made him but I assure you he made an imprint
on my life. Uncle Archie, for as long as I can
remember, would always make BBQ ribs for
family gatherings every time he and Aunt Ann
were in town. It seemed like they were in town a
lot or maybe I just remember it that way. I learned a lot from Uncle A, not only about BBQ,
but about life. Maybe the reason why I love

BBQ
so much is because every time I light a fire, smell
the smoke, or sit at a table full of good BBQ I
am taken back to a simple, wonderful time of
love, acceptance, and challenge. In my quest to
duplicate Uncle Archie’s cooking I have come up
with some pretty wonderful Q that my wife Sherry
and I want to share with you in hopes that your
family will also cultivate great memories while
enjoying our food.
